Plouffe Word Game Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy — Plouffe Word Games
Effective date: August 2, 2026
Plouffe Word Games is a collection of word puzzles for iOS and Android made
by Dominic Plouffe. The short version: the app collects no data at
all. There is no long version hiding anything — the rest of this page
just spells it out.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash
reporting, and no tracking of any kind. It does not ask for your name, email,
location, contacts, or any other personal information, and it contains no
third-party code that would do so on our behalf.
What stays on your device
Your puzzle progress, streaks, statistics, and settings are saved on your
device so the app can remember where you left off. That information never
leaves your device: the app makes no network connections and works entirely
offline. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Sharing
If you tap the share button after solving a puzzle, the app hands a small
spoiler-free result card to your device’s standard share sheet. Nothing is
shared unless you choose an app to share it with, and we never see it either
way.
App stores
Downloading the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play involves
those platforms in the ordinary way (for example, processing the download and
any ratings you leave). That is governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy
policies; we receive no personal information from it.
Children
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from
children.
Changes
If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above — for example,
by adding an optional online feature — this policy will be updated first, and
the change will be stated plainly here with a new effective date.
